UltraJet® Model Range
UltraJet marine jet drives (waterjet propulsion) feature high efficiency single-stage axial-flow pump elements with a variety of intake housings and control options. A wide range of impellers match most marine diesel engines from 134 to 1700 bhp (100 to 1268 kW) with the appropriate direct drive or reduction ratio. UltraJet propulsion systems are rated for the real-world operating conditions encountered by most boats.
UltraJet drives excel when thrust is required to quickly accelerate the boat, to permit getting on plane with a full fuel and passenger load, to maintain planing attitude at cruise throttle settings, even in turns, and to maintain control in following or quartering seas yet still providing the best top speed possible with the available power.

UltraJet units include intake with integral oil cooler, intake grill, steering and reverse deflectors, hydraulic cylinders for reverse and steering, impeller (selected for available input power and drive speed), sacrificial anodes, drive flange (SAE or DIN), installation gaskets and seals, installation templates and drawings, operation and service manual, and packing in wooden shipping crate. A PowerJet version (without steering and reverse deflectors) is available for the center of a triple-jet installation.

Jet Control Systems
A smooth and responsive control system will accentuate the maneuvering advantages of waterjet propulsion, even in difficult sea and wind conditions. Ultra Dynamics offers a wide range of control systems thus ensuring the most appropriate system for each application.
UltraJet waterjet propulsion systems include the above jet(s) plus installation kit(s) for aluminum, composite, wood, or steel hulls, hydraulic system for deflector operation, and reversing/steering controls. Controls include hydromechanical (actuated by push/pull cable) or electrohydraulic (single or twin lever or joystick). In addition, UltraJet units may be ordered set up for customers’ own control system.
